Which plan do I need?＋
Every plan includes the entire platform: accounting, payroll, California certified payroll, estimating, portals, all of it. You pick a tier by team size and how many AI bids you run a month: Solo ($99, 1 seat, 5 bids), Crew ($249, 5 seats, 10 bids), or Pro ($499, 12 seats, 20 bids). Need more bids on any plan? Add a 10-bid pack for $99. Need more people? Add seats at $40/mo each.
What counts as a "bid"?＋
A bid is a full AI takeoff from a planset. We read the plans, build the quantity takeoff, and price it. That compute-heavy run is what your monthly count covers (5 on Solo, 10 on Crew, 20 on Pro). Reformatting an existing quote (a subcontractor’s number or your own rough figures) into your branded proposal is free and unlimited: no planset, no takeoff, so it never touches your bid count.
Is pricing per seat?＋
Seats are simple and published. Solo includes one, Crew five, and Pro twelve, and you add more on any plan at $40/mo each. The math is right here, a 13-seat shop runs about $539/mo, with no sales quote and no volume-based surprise bill.
Can I try it before I pay?＋
Yes. It’s free to start with no credit card. We set you up personally, build your first bid free, and load a real project so you see your own numbers before you decide whether to continue.
Do I still need QuickBooks or a payroll service?＋
No. Bullwork has a native double-entry general ledger and a full payroll engine, so you don’t run separate accounting or payroll products. If your CPA prefers QuickBooks, you export to it anytime.
Is there a contract or lock-in?＋
No long-term contract, no lock-in. Your data is yours to export at any time. We earn the renewal every month.
Can I switch plans later?＋
Anytime. Every tier has the full platform, so moving up is only about more seats and more monthly bids. Nothing to re-set-up, your data carries over.
