Integrations & portability

The connections that matter, and your data, always yours.

All-in-one means fewer tools to wire together. The links contractors actually need, QuickBooks export, DIR eCPR, e-sign, full data export, are built in, not bolted on.

Transparent pricing · Native accounting · No QuickBooks required.

The short version

Fewer integrations, by design

Most construction stacks are a web of integrations because no single tool does the whole job, so estimating, a PM app, QuickBooks, and a payroll service all have to talk, sync, and reconcile. Every connection is one more thing to break at month-end.

Bullwork does all four natively, so there’s far less to connect. What’s left are the handful of connections that genuinely matter, and they’re built in, plus a guarantee that your data is always exportable and yours.

What connects

Built-in connections

QuickBooks

Built-in export

Bullwork keeps your books on a native general ledger, so you don’t run QuickBooks underneath. When your CPA wants it, export a clean QuickBooks-ready file in one click. You replace QuickBooks without ever losing the option of handing it over.

DIR eCPR (California)

Schema-valid XML

For California public works, generate a DIR eCPR XML built to conform to the official CPR.xsd. You upload and certify it through the DIR portal, no separate certified-payroll vendor, no re-keying.

Federal WH-347

Generated from payroll

On federal and federally funded work, the WH-347 certified-payroll report generates straight from the payroll you already ran, classifications, hours, and wages filled in.

E-signature

In the client portal

Clients review and approve proposals and change orders from a no-login portal, an approval is captured and timestamped, and an approved CO bumps the contract automatically. No separate e-sign tool to buy.

Spreadsheets & CSV

Import + export

Bring your project, cost, and estimate data in during guided setup, and export any list to CSV or a full Excel workbook whenever you want it, for a lender, a bonding agent, or your own records.

Your data, always

Exportable anytime

Everything you put in, you can take out, books, jobs, estimates, payroll records. No lock-in, no “request your data” ticket. Your records are yours, on your schedule.

Common questions

Integrations & portability, answered

Does Bullwork integrate with QuickBooks?

Bullwork replaces QuickBooks. It has its own native double-entry general ledger (P&L, balance sheet, WIP, AP, AR), so you don’t run QuickBooks underneath it. For your CPA or a lender, you can export a QuickBooks-ready file any time. So it’s not a two-way sync you have to maintain; it’s a one-click export when you actually need it.

Why doesn’t it have dozens of integrations?

Because it doesn’t need them. The reason contractors wire five tools together is that no single tool does estimating, project management, accounting, and certified payroll. Bullwork does all four natively, so there’s far less to connect, sync, and reconcile. The integrations that genuinely matter, QuickBooks export, DIR eCPR, e-sign, data export, are built in.

Can I export my data if I leave?

Yes, always. Export any list to CSV and your full books to an Excel workbook whenever you want, no lock-in. Your data is yours; we make it easy to take with you.

How do I move my existing data in?

During guided setup we help you bring in your active projects, cost data, and estimates from QuickBooks or spreadsheets on a clean cutover date, so you’re not re-entering history by hand.

Does it handle e-signatures?

Yes, where it counts, clients approve proposals and change orders from their no-login portal, and the approval is captured with a timestamp. An approved change order updates the contract automatically. No separate DocuSign-style tool required.
